I was browsing Pinterest thins morning and I came across this art project done by grade 4 students in the States based on a blown glass sculptor, Dale Chihuly. He makes some unique abstract pieces that would be cool to do as a full class project. This would be a fun project to during my long practicum when students and my self have more time to study his art as well as my our own Chihuly piece. Interesting...the group project would make quite a splash in a school entry way or foyer. The teacher who thought of this project was quite original in thinking about how her students could translate a similar colorful, abstract effect with different materials.
